This website is operated by AMNET, the trading desk of Dentsu Aegis Network Group. AMNET (Amnet, we, us) has adopted this Privacy Notice for the website located at www.amnetgroup.com and to govern the data collection by Amnet across third party websites on behalf of our clients.
This Privacy Notice does not apply to the website of any other company or network brand within the same group of companies as Amnet.
We are committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of all individuals with whom we interact and to fostering user confidence in online advertising. Accordingly, we support and promote relevant industry guidelines including those established by the Interactive Advertising Bureau and the CAP Code on Online Behavioural Advertising. We participate in the European Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA) self-regulatory programme and adhere to the EDAA Principles for Online Behavioural Advertising.
We provide services for our clients such as digital media services and purchase of inventory within ad exchanges and other media sources via Amnet’s trading platform (Services).
The purpose of this Privacy Notice is to provide transparency around how we collect information online, in connection with our Services and on this website.
This Privacy Notice explains the following:
In the Supplementary Information section of this Privacy Notice, we explain what is meant by “personal data” and other terms used in this notice.
When conducting Services on behalf of our clients, we collect unique mobile device ID or internet protocol (IP) address online identifiers, which are numbers that can uniquely identify a specific computer or other network device on the internet. This helps us to identify users that we may have interacted with before. For instance, by using this information, we may be able to identify whether a web browser has previously been served with an advertisement that we launched on behalf of a client.
We may also collect information such as the type of internet browser used by an online user, the type of computer operating system used, the domain name of the websites visited before and after viewing an advertisement, and information related to websites and web pages a user is viewing when an advertisement is shown.
In the context of personal information, whenever we refer to ‘you’ or ‘yours,’ please remember that we may be referring to a user’s browser profile and not an identifiable person since we do not collect or receive information that directly identifies a user (such as your name or email address).
We collect and use the personal data to offer a range of Services to our advertiser clients. By collecting information regarding your web browsing, usage or interactions with advertisements, our clients are able to show you the most useful and relevant online advertisements across numerous websites, and to prevent excessive or repeated deliveries of the same advertisements.
For example, if a user browser’s profile indicates an interest in car options, then our Services may help our clients deliver interest-based online advertisements to that user about a particular type of car. This is known as “profiling” – using automated means to process your personal data to analyse or predict your personal preferences, interests, or behaviour. This enables our clients to work out how best to deliver relevant online advertisements that are relevant to your preferences, interests or behaviours. You can object to our profiling (see section 7 of this Privacy Notice, below).
This information is also used for the purpose of research and analysis. If you would like to learn more about online behavioural advertising practices you can visit the following websites: www.iab.net/privacymatters and www.aboutads.info .
This section applies in relation to the website located at www.amnetgroup.com.
We collect information about you if you make use of any of the interactive features within our website that rely on a personalised response such as to provide us with information through our “contact us” link or submit information in connection with an inquiry, or where you ask us to respond to a query you have. The information we collect is limited to the details we need to provide the specific service you have asked for and will not be used for any other purpose.
We do not actively seek to collect information about children aged 16 or under, or create interest segments specifically designed for the purpose of targeting children. If you have any concerns about your child’s privacy in relation to our Services or if you believe that your child may have entered personal data onto our website, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Data protection law allows us to process your personal data, if we have a legitimate interest in doing so. As described in sections 1, 2 and 3 of this Privacy Notice, we use your personal data to do the following:
We will not process your personal data if your interests, rights and freedoms override our own interests.
On occasion, we may disclose the personal data collected through our Services, and information derived from it, to our clients and vendors. This information does not include any information that can be used to contact or identify any person individually. We encourage our clients to use any personal data they receive in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and to ensure that privacy notices are made available that tell you about how the information they are gathering is being used. Therefore, you are encouraged to always read the privacy notices of the websites you visit to understand issues relating to your online privacy.
We may disclose a user’s personal data to third parties when we are obligated to do so by applicable law or regulation, and in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual prohibited activities.
We do not collect information that directly identifies an individual via our client’s advertisements. If you voluntarily provide information that directly identifies you to one of our clients, whether via their advertisements, websites or any other online portal, then that information will be provided to such client, and will be subject to that client’s privacy notice.
From time to time we may ask other members of the Dentsu Aegis Network Group, or third party service providers, to help us manage our information technology systems and to process data that directly identifies you (voluntarily provided on this website) and other personal data (obtained on behalf of our clients when providing Services) on our behalf. Some of these entities or their servers may be located in countries overseas, including countries located outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
We will only transfer your information to a third party service provider or overseas, where we are satisfied that adequate levels of protection are in place to protect the integrity and security of any information being processed and in compliance with applicable privacy and data protection laws. These measures include the use of Standard Contractual Clauses, the EU-US Privacy Shield or the Swiss-US Privacy Shield.
We are committed to ensuring your personal data is kept secure and confidential. We have appropriate security measures in place to protect against unauthorised access or accidental loss of your personal data in accordance with generally accepted industry standards. This includes undertaking necessary physical, electronic, and management activities required to protect information integrity, access, and use.
We will use our cookie information only for as long as is needed to provide Services to our clients and in aggregated form for the purposes of evaluating our Services and technologies after the Services cease to be provided.
If you would like to stop receiving information from us; or your personal preferences change and you do not want us to send you any information you have previously requested; or if you have any queries about how we use the personal data collected on this website , or you wish to raise a complaint, please let us know by contacting us at email@example.com .
